Little Drummer Boy

I recently bought an Alesis DM6 Drum Kit.  It's a ton of fun and the neighbors still don't hate me or even know I have a drum set.  I can lay down a drum track and then DJ right to the beat and I'm having fun looping the drum tracks into whole songs.  The best part about it is that you can hook up your iPod and listen to songs while you drum right along with them. 

Recently I have been compiling a list of songs that are fun and easy to drum along with.  You know, the ones that you play on your steering wheel when you think no one is looking on the drive home?  Yeah, those ones.

Hitched in LA

I recently had the pleasure of attending Hitched, an amazing curated wedding event put on Bash, Please and Urbanic. I took my Zumi camera and tried to capture as much as possible of the big night. Enjoy.

La Cosa Blanca

McGuire Photography came to our La Cosa Blanca event the other night and shot a few photos of yours truly in the mix.  If you look closely you can see the Charlie Chaplin movie projected on the wall behind me.  Thanks for the great photos, Maryanne!  I'll be posting a Funk/Soul mix from that night soon, so stay tuned.

Tori & Austin at City Hall

Because we had our wedding in Mexico, we had to go to City Hall here in San Diego to make everything nice and legal. We were upset that our dogs Briar and Lola couldn't come to Mexico with us, so we brought them along for the ceremony on the front lawn overlooking the harbor. Tori's sister Lacey acted as a witness and a second shooter as we captured the whole thing on super 8mm. After the ceremony the dogs felt like celebrating and ran free and wild for a bit until we could catch them again. I guess the excitement of finally being a real family just got the better of them.
