Wendy & Kyle

I recently DJed & filmed a rad wedding in Balboa Park for Wendy & Kyle.  The whole day was amazing but the coolest part for me was going surfing in OB with Kyle and his groomsmen and bringing along my GoPro while my second shooter Brent was with Wendy and the bridesmaids.  It was a first for me and I can't wait to get back out there in the water and do some more surf filming...

Bachelor/ette producers Malibu Hills wedding

I had the unbelievable opportunity to film a wedding of two of the producers of the hit ABC TV show The Bachelor and The Bachelorette at a private estate in the hills of Malibu. Chris Harrison officiated and many of the shows past couples and alum were guests.  Jesi Haack Design killed it and my second shooter was my amazing wife Tori of sitting in a tree events.  Enjoy the vignettes!

Hooray for October!

To start out the week and the month I had two rad posts go live back to back!  Monday was the amazingly adorable Free People inspired wedding of Stacy and Adam on Green Wedding Shoes.  Tuesday was the premiere of The Vetted Table (the MIHO Gastrotruck catering company) at El Take It Easy posted on 100 Layer Cake.  Both events were DJed by yours truly, styled by my amazing wife and sitting in a tree events, and shot by Rico and Rachel of Studio Castillero featuring their newest venture The Amigo Booth.

What a great way to start off October!

The Cream LA

I've been harvested! What does that mean you say? Only that our super rad friends at Bash, Please threw The Cream LA; the 4th installment of their amazing showcase event that features everything here and now in the world of weddings (formerly known as Hitched). Anywho, they chose little ol' me for the videography category, so here is the little vignette I put together from the epic event that happened on March 1st at The Book Bindery in Culver City. The night was amazing and capped off with a insane dance contest DJed by The Flashdance himself! Enjoy, I know I did!

The song is "Uncontrollable Urge" by Devo.

Cream of the crop

I've been harvested!  What does that mean you say?  Only that our super rad friends at Bash, Please are having the 4th installment of their amazing showcase event that features everything here and now in the world of weddings (formerly known as Hitched).  Anywho, they chose little ol' me for the videography category, so come March 1st I will be in at The Book Bindery in Culver City struttin' my stuff....Wahooooo!

What's that you are saying now?  Oh you wish you could be there?  Well you are in luck because I happen to have two tickets in my hot little hand and can't wait to give them away...but not without a little fanfare.   So here's what we are going to do:  Below are two stills from a certain movie that shall remain nameless:

Your job is to answer the following in the comments section:

1. What is the name of the movie?

2. What is the name of the actress?

3. What is the quote being said during this scene?

First person who does so wins the tickets.  Good luck and see you in LA!

Chandler & John at Durham Ranch

Chandler and John's wedding at Durham Ranch was an dream shoot. The gorgeous couple, incredible details, the setting and the amazing moon that night really made my job easy. A big thanks to W. Scott Chester photography and Enjoy Events Co. for also being so rad to work with.

The songs are "Our Day Will Come" By Amy Winehouse and "Nothing's Too Good for My Baby" by Stevie Wonder.
